Computer accessories: indispensable for a computer
You can never get the best out of your computer without appropriate computer accessories. Some accessories come with the computer, but there are others which you need to purchase separately. It is also up to a consumer to decide which accessories will best suit his/her needs and which to leave out. Various types of important computer accessories include software, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers that often come with the computer you purchase.
Software is often pre-installed in the computer, but you may need additional software for your use. Although monitor too comes with the computer, you may buy it separately if it is cheaper. You need to buy a separate keyboard only if you need additional features such as wireless connection or extra buttons for use in specific programs. A mouse can be wired, or wireless depending on your choice. If you are interested in listening to music on your computer, you can also buy better quality speakers separately.
Computer accessories that have to be purchased separately include cables, printers, routers, CDs and DVDs. You will need a network cable if you want to connect your computer to the Internet. Printers will be required for printing documents, pictures or other materials. Routers allow users to build a network that lets them share a single Internet connection, and also printers and other resources, between multiple computers. It is also sensible to have some blank CDs and DVDs depending on the drives in your computer. It is convenient and often economic to buy desktop computer accessories simultaneously with your computer.
